WeFitter distinguishes between calories burned at rest and calories from physical activity.

Calories at rest are those consumed by the body just by being alive. These calories do not count because they are not an effort of the user, it is not doing any sport activity by breathing, sitting or sleeping.

Some trackers, such as Google Fit, distinguish in their app / web those calories with those burned by physical activity and separate them.

In other trackers like Fitbit, the calories are grouped. But in reality they are not, so when WeFitter receives this information we make this separation.

That is why it may be that on some occasions, the calories counted in WeFitter do not match those shown in the tracker interface
